Pavement Reformation

For those of you that don't know who Pavement are. You can slap yourself in the head right now. Pavement are a leading cult band of the 90s and they are one of those bands that all the critics go on about calling them a true "Seminal" band. All of this is true. Pavement are a seminal band, they are the most seminal band out there. They are absolute legends and to be honest deserve all the praise they get. Which is why I am writing this blog right now. After many rumours of this band reforming, it has actually been officially announced. Website and everything. Most of the hard core fans are probably peeing their pants right now, but if you don't live in new york then you will probably be extremely bummed out or booking a plane ticket now, depending on how truly hardcore you are. Fortunately, for those of us who have sense, Pavement are curating the ATP Festival next may, and are also doing a gig at the Brixton academy. Fortunately Tickets for the brixton academy gig go on sale Friday 23rd october, because ATP tickets are already sold out. There are some rumours however, of them being on the cards for next years Glastonbury Festival. Which is lucky for me seeing as I already got a ticket for the festival, I go every year and love it. So if your a hardcore fan of Pavement then I would wait for them to announce their world tour in full, and book that plane ticket!
